The Voice (BRAC0001)
Broadmead Residents Association Collections: BRAC0001
TheVoice
From its inception in October 1979 the Voice of the Residents has been the chronicler of life at Broadmead. It is the principal source of how the resident community at Broadmead views itself and of what engages their interests and attention.
Archives Committee Member Jai Dixon has prepared a complete digital archive of the Voice and placed it on https://archive.org.
The use of Archive.org is a work in progress. All issues are organized by volume number. Once you click on the volume covering the period you want, you can search within each issue, but not across a volume. We have not yet achieved full text searching but hope to accomplish that by the summer of 2026.
To view all issues of the Voice on Archive.org use this url:
https://archive.org/search?query=Quaker13801&sort=-addeddate
Just click on the volume you want that contains the issue you are looking for. For example:
https://archive.org/details/2024-09-01-voice-vol-046-no-001/2024_09_01_voice_vol_046_no_001/
Then select an issue and use the left-hand search (not the search at the top of the page). Example:
Bound paper copies of the Voice are available in the Broadmead Library, in Broadmead Resident Archives storage and in the Voice office.
